One of my favorite projects: 3D illustration for a 2019 Quanta Magazine article by Philip Ball: Quantum Darwinism, an Idea to Explain Objective Reality, Passes First Tests

The mirrors represent reality and the foreground a fantastical quantum world with a wave in superposition. When it decohered, only blue remained. A rendering trick (Redshift) excludes the red wave from reflections.
