Testing a simple unraveling animation using only keyframed scaling. https://skfb.ly/6ZET7 This would easily be done via growth along a spline, but that’s not readable out of the box on Sketchfab and I wanted to avoid caching, alembics, etc. Didn’t take long and the resulting file is nice and light!
Next I'd like to try for a more comfortable texture-painting workflow. SP 2019 was laggy even with these basic textures. And I didn't like how the brush would "skip" when trying to paint near gaps in geometry, leaving bits of stokes elsewhere on the mesh.
