What's in a Proton? | Animated 3D Science Illustration & FUI

Proton. Although the structure is not clearly visible here, I follow physicist Sabine Hossenfelder's advice for proton models: https://tinyurl.com/sh-proton
Stills of the proton's inner "sea". I love the iridescent, rainbow-in-shower effects happening here.
A project like this takes a lot of R&D — tons of test files! Here's one of the alt. "sea" visuals I really liked, but ultimately this method wasn't right for the results I wanted, so I scrapped it.
Another "inner maelstrom" test.
